Story
7/30/13: Hi...Tank here. Still here in WI with my FM and 3 new buddies (although 'one' of them is a tough customer). Things are going fine. I am receiving some much needed training. I guess I'm a bit of a Wild Child. My visit to the Vet came out A.O.K. I am now UTD on everything. HW and Lyme disease free. No medical problems. My FM is trying to make sure I get more exercise as I am a very exuberant young dog. I love my walks and am learning not to pull so much. My FM says if she was 10 yrs younger she'd be able to walk faster. I would really like a home with a dog brother or sister. I don't think I'd do well alone unless someone was there all the time or where someone is almost always there, as I have some separation anxiety. We are also working on that. Having my foster sisters and brother around really helps. I am also getting used to being able to go out in the fenced backyard. Things out in nature are actually starting to interest me, so I'm not so quick to want to get back in the house with my FM (although she is watching through the windows, but I don't know that). Won't someone please take me home? I am TOTALLY house trained, athletic, super loving and LOOKING FOR LOVE! Initial Bio 07/15/13: Tank is an adorable 4 year old Yorkie who was surrendered by his owners because they didn't feel they were giving him the time he deserved. He is being fostered in Necedah, WI. Tank will visit the vet this week and then we will update his bio. Stay tuned!

Story
Name: Yassi Age: 7 months Breed: Beagle/Terrier Mix Gender: Female Weight: 40 lbs Altered: Yes Crate Trained: Yes. She does well in her crate. When gone for extended periods of time, may have an accident but otherwise, doesn't mind her crate at all. Housebroke: MUCH BETTER! Not 100% but Yassi is a smart girl who learned very quickly and has not had an accident for some time. Good with kids: Yes, does great with kids. Good with dogs: Yes. She loves playing with the other dogs in the house and neighborhood dogs. Loves cuddling next to our pittie. Good with cats: Not sure. We do not have cats but I suspect she would be fine as she is great with our 9 lbs shitzu and is very gentle and submissive when he tells her to leave him alone. She has also met our neighbors cat and did totally fine. Did not fixate, was more interested in the kids and their dog. Foster location: Mequon, WI Fee: $250 that includes spay/neuter, monthly preventatives, deworming, age appropriate heartworm testing (or treatment) age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate. Please apply for me at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HFAH/Dog (403644-DS) Due to the amount of no shows we are now requiring a $50 deposit. It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Bio: Hello! Meet Yassi. Yassi made the long commute from an overcrowded shelter down south to start her new life. Yassi was so timid when first entering a home and suddenly experiencing scheduled walks, meals and LOVE. With time, she is warming up quickly and embracing her new life. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs. It's such a joy watching her throw toys around and smile when playing fetch outside. She has fallen in love with our 7 year old niece and LOVES to snuggle next to her. Yassi is timid when she meets new people, especially males. She needs an adopter who is patient and understanding and can give her time to gain their trust. Once she opens up though, she is all sweetness and kisses and is so loyal. She does well in her crate when we leave the house. She will join you on walks or jogs or hikes. She would do well in a home with other dogs or kids. If you are looking for a true companion, come meet Yassi! She is so excited to find her forever home!
