Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a PetWe do require sanitizing when handling our pups, and in between pups, so you may have to sanitize several times. No appt necessary 10am-6pm
- Submit ApplicationOnce ap is submitted we will do a vet check and reference check to make sure others that know you will agree this is a good animal for you.
- InterviewWe will talk about your application, ask questions, get clarity on some things.
- Approve ApplicationOnce we do the soft background check to check for animal cruelty or neglect we can move on with you getting you new furever friend.
- Sign Adoption ContractAll contracts must be signed and initialed by the credit card holder. No exceptions
- Pay FeeWe accept cash, credit card, cash app, apple pay
- Take the Pet HomeMost adoptions are completed same day
Additional adoption info
We strive to find the perfect home for each pet. We try to make the process easy and to the point. All our pets can be seen anyday 10am to 6pm, no appt necessary.Please check our Facebook page Ricky's Rascals and Wholesome Petz for special events. Every other weekend we are doing adoption events away from the facility. If driving more than an hour from us please call to make sure the pet is still available. We will hold specified pet for your drive time plus 15 min. Please stay in contact with us during your drive time in case of traffic issues.
