CARE Medical Fund

Dog rescue in Chandler, AZ

Since 2013, C.A.R.E. Medical Fund has provided emergency medical funding and assistance to companion animals in our shelters. What would normally deem a shelter pet as unadoptable due to treatable illness or age, we provide the funding for life-saving procedures that give hope. Our rescue is dedicated to helping homeless pets in our community find their second chance.

Additional adoption info

The adoption process is simple:

1. The first step is to complete the Adoption Application. Once we have received your application, you will be contacted within 48 hours. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona and do not do out-of-state adoptions.

2. Your application will then be assigned to a volunteer that will schedule a home visit. The home visit allows us to get a better understanding of your family and your lifestyle so you meet dogs that fit your family. All members of your family must be present for the home visit.

3. Once you are approved, the foster home will contact you. Our dogs are all in foster homes, so you will need to be an approved adopter before meeting any of our rescue dogs.

4. The foster home will schedule a meet and greet. All members of your family must be present for the meet and greet as well as all pets residing in the home. We want to make sure everyone gets along.

5. You have 24 hours to make your decision. Once you have met your potential new family member, you have 24 hours to make your decision. You will need to contact the foster home with your decision within that time frame, otherwise, the foster home will contact the next family 24 hours after you meet the dog.

6. An Adoption Agreement will be completed and you will receive all the medical and vaccination information.

7. The adoption fee is collected.

8. You get to take your new family member home!
