Granite State Dog Recovery Animal Shelter is located at 7 Dartmouth Street in Hooksett NH 03106.
Our shelter is fully licensed with the State of NH Department of Agriculture. Granite State Dog Recovery will provide the highest loving care just like we would our own pets.
GSDR wanted to provide an opportunity for the dogs in our care feel like they are at home and not just in a shelter waiting to go to their forever homes. Our shelter yard is fenced and all play yards are double gated. We have 24/7 surveillance around our property and throughout our building.
The dogs will learn what it is like to be in a home with furniture, toys, rugs, music and most of all people that care about their over all well being. Dogs will be exposed to the normal daily activities that happen in a home-like setting. During the day there might be vacuum cleaners running, dishwashers going, the noise of a washer & dryer operating, and pots & pans clinging. Throughout the day people will talking and laughing while providing these dogs the love they all so deserve.
