We are a rescue organization who operates the municipal shelter for the City of Evanston. Our mission is: We give companion animals the best chance at the life they deserve through rehabilitation, foster care, adoption and community support that keeps pets with the people who love them.

We have several shelter diversion programs designed to help people keep their pets.

Because of Covid we are not currently open to the public and are scheduling meet and greets by appointment only. Dog meetings occur outside and cats meetings are virtual.
