MRFRS is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of all cats and providing support and education for the people who care about them.
All our cats are spayed or neutered, inoculated against rabies and distemper, and given a thorough veterinary checkup before being released through any of our programs. All of our cats are also microchipped for identification in case you lose your kitty.

Additional adoption info
No cat can be adopted without an adoption questionnaire being completed. You can find the form here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MER/Cat
Our adoption fees are $300 for a kitten one year and under, $150 for adult cats age 1-9yrs, $50 for senior cats age 10+ and $50 for special needs cats. The adoption fee includes testing for FIV and FeLV (FeLV only for kittens less than six months of age) spay/neuter, rabies, distemper, worming, flea treatments etc. Some cats and kittens may not be able to receive all of these vaccines and it will become your responsibility to make sure your new cat's vaccines are tended to. All new parents receive a health record stating what vaccines and treatments the cat has had.
