Bowe's Animal Rescue

Dog rescue in Madera, CA

We are a no kill non-profit animal rescue that deals with mostly dumped dogs in fields and orchards that are hard to catch. We chose to specialize in this are because the really difficult to catch dogs are often left out there to survive and they need us the most.

Additional adoption info

The first step is to email us at bowesanimalrescue@gmail.com to request an adoption application and ask any questions about the available dogs. Once your application is approved we will set up a time for you to come meet the dogs. If going to an adoption event in Atherton, applications need to be received a head of time since we will only be there for one to two days and have meet & greets and home checks to complete at that time.
Once you decide on the dog you would like to adopt we will do a home check to make sure you have a safe and secure home for the dog. If you own other pets, we will introduce your pets with the dog you are wanting to adopt to make sure they get along. After that signing an adoption contact is the last step.

*** We stand behind our dogs for the remainder of their life. If for any reason you can not keep the dog (even years from now) we will take the dog back into our care.
