Purrs Abound Siamese Rescue of Michigan, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Purrs Abound was founded in March 2001 out of a love for Siamese cats and a desire to rescue Siamese cats from shelters and animal control facilities. In addition, Siamese cats do poorly in shelter environments because of their need for close human interaction. These frightened cats and kittens are placed into loving foster homes where we can give them time to begin their rehabilitation and ready themselves for their new forever homes.

The main focus of Purrs Abound Siamese Rescue is the greater Detroit metropolitan area, spreading North to Flint, Michigan and West to Ann Arbor. When foster space permits, we are more than happy to help Siamese in the outskirts of Michigan. Individuals from any area or state are welcome to contact us as long as they are willing to visit the cat(s) of interest in their foster home to finalize an adoption. We will NOT ship cats via air freight.
