Animal rescue in Vineyard Haven, MA

Sandy Paws Rescue inc. is a 100% volunteer run organization. We are primarily based on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard. Unless noted, our dogs travel from the south to find homes.
We do our best to respond to every inquiry, but this is not always possible. We appreciate your support of rescue work, and your continued patience with us.

Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a physical location for visits.
We are a licensed Massachusetts rescue (License #0272) operating in full compliance with state regulations.

We strongly encourage you to visit the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) website to familiarize yourself with state laws regarding animal importation and licensed rescue organizations. If you live in Massachusetts, it is essential to only adopt from a licensed rescue to ensure compliance with these regulations.

Please note: Picking up a dog in Connecticut while residing in Massachusetts is illegal.
