Rescue FAQs

C.A.R.E. Coalition is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that was founded to strengthen the bond between our community and companion animals. Its goal is to serve our Community through Advocacy of abandoned and homeless animals, support veterinary Research that improves the health and lives of animals, and Education of our community about informed and responsible pet ownership. Our board members and officers have been active in our community for many years by hosting pet-friendly events, fundraising for pet-related activities/issues, education events in the school system, and through our local veterinary hospital. We routinely transfer animals, primarily cats and kittens, from our city’s animal shelter into our program when space and funding provide. All animals are examined and treated for medical conditions, tested for contagious disease, treated for intestinal parasites, immunized and spayed/neutered before being placed for adoption. The medical treatment of the animals we serve are funded through the graciousness of donations. Please consider making a tax-free donation to C.A.R.E. Coalition today! Our PayPal address is carecoalitiontx@gmail.com. Thank you for your generosity!
