QC Happy Hounds is a 501c3 organization and made up entirely of all volunteers who have a passion for dogs. No one in our rescue receives a salary. All donations, adoption fees, and fundraising goes towards rescue upkeep, paying vet bills, and dog care.
We are always in need of volunteers to help out with various aspects of the rescue as well as donations to help us care for the dogs we rescue.

We cover the Iowa/Illinois Quad Cities area (Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, Moline) as well as an approximate 150 miles radius area around the Quad Cities.
All of our dogs are in foster homes being socialized by their foster families. We have no physical shelter location.
Additional adoption info
Our Rescue has no physical shelter to visit. All of our dogs are in volunteer-based foster homes. Before a meet and greet can be set up you must have an application on file. If multiple applications are submitted for the same dog we will go through the adoption process and determine which home would be the best fit for that dog. All applications will be kept and are good for one year.
All of our dogs have been checked by our veterinarian, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered unless they are unable to be for medical reasons.
Successful adoptions into loving homes is our goal, in order to help adoptions be successful we always offer post-adoption support including referrals to trainers, behaviorists, help with resources, and experienced volunteers to help as needed.
Our adoption fees are as follows: $300 for puppies who are too young to be altered, $50 refunded upon proof of spay/neuter. $250 for adult dogs that are altered, and $125 for senior dogs.
