Rescue Bridges

Dog rescue in Apex, NC

I have been rescuing pets from Nash County Animal Shelter for five years. I work closely with the founder of Nash County Animal Friends to pull dogs that are in danger of going out the "back" door instead of the front door.

The dogs I have now have received a lot of love and training.

I believe they are now ready for a forever home.

Donation If your heart prompts you to donate to any one of these special dogs or to the Rescue itself, please note we are not a 501 3(C) yet :( Would be if we would just stop pulling dogs and concentrate on the financial end. If you would still like to donate however please call Grace Park Animal Hospital and donate to our veterinary account. 919-462-1212.

Additional adoption info

We start out with a meet and greet with each dog chosen by the potential adopter.

If all goes well we arrange for a two week trail adoption period. During this time we keep in close contact with the adopter and may at our discretion perform a home visit.

If after the two weeks a match that works for both the potential adopters and the pet has been formed. Then the paperwork is signed. A fee of $100 is paid.

Vet records are then transferred into the new owner's name.
