Rescue FAQs

“Helping Pets Live Their Best Life” FloridaWild is dedicated to providing compassionate and outstanding medical, dental, diagnostic and surgical care for dogs, cats, birds, and exotics. We are proud to offer an integrative approach to veterinary medicine. By combining both Eastern and Western Medicine, we are able to provide the best possible outcome for your pet. FloridaWild recommends minimizing vaccines in accordance with The American Animal Hospital Association and we believe nutrition is the foundation of your pets’ health, each and every species. FloridaWild offers a variety of services in addition to basic veterinary care including acupuncture, canine rehabilitation therapy, orthopedic manipulation therapy, homeopathy and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. We look forward to sitting down with you to devise a total health plan for your furry, feathered or scaled family member so we can “help your pets live their best lives.” We do not refuse animals with medical needs and the owner cannot pay. We do not euthanize animals per an owner's request if they cannot afford medical treatment or no longer want their pet. We ask the owner to surrender the animal to our adoption program.
