Now all I need is you!Yahoo, my name is Franklin and I am a high-octane lad who could use some guidance. I am hoping for an experienced person who is prepared to provide structure, exercise and training to help me be the best pooch ever. I was a stray at MADACC (Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission) before I was transferred to WCHS. The kind folks at the shelter realized that I would do much better in a foster home where I would get a good routine and opportunities to play with lots of different pups to burn some energy every day. I am a tolerant dude and I need my mates to be somewhat tolerant of me because I am a rough player. I hope we can take some classes together so I can learn some manners and polite leash walking. I enjoy taking long walks but do pull a bit on the leash because I want to go, go, go; I also get excited and mischievous and play tug with the leash. I need to practice not jumping on people and settling down when I get hyper; my person will need to help me stay more tranquil before I get over-stimulated. I already know the cues for ‘sit', ‘down' and ‘shake/paw' and I hope to expand my repertoire of human words; I would do well with patient and positive training techniques. I will need plenty of physical and mental exercise every day; brain teaser toys and using a foraging mat at mealtime can help burn some of my abundant energy. I like to chase tennis balls and think fetch might be fun. I am playful and think it would be grand to play games and canine sports with you; I would be interested in any activity that we could share. I am an affectionate lad and adore people; I will happily snuggle up with you on the couch at the end of a day filled with exercise and playtime. Make arrangements to meet me at my foster home and I think you will be impressed with my dynamic brilliance.#2

Hello! My name is Winchester! I am a fun-loving, big, goofy boy that came to the shelter as a stray. I am now in need of a home that will give me the exercise, love, and attention I deserve! I am so sweet with everyone, but I am pretty jumpy and strong, so I would do best in a home that is willing to give me structure, training, and that can handle a big boy like me! I would be okay with kids too, but ideally, they would be older and are used to dogs jumping and possible knocking them over on accident. I do not seem to have an issue with other dogs, but I may be too much for some dogs out there, so a proper introduction to any new dogs I meet would be a necessity! I am so much fun to play with! My little trot when I am playing out in the yard is so entertaining and cute! I would love to have someone that will take me for walks and play with me to my heart's content! Think that could be you?
