To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ I am a love bug who will be loyal through and through. I am a BIG boy at 85 lbs.! This seems to be my ideal weight, too! I am a laid-back, middle-aged dude who wants all the attention! We are working on my excitability, and I am learning not to jump. I am a typical bulldog with itchy skin & lots of lovable folds that will need care. I love to go outside and play, and I know just what to do out there. No messes in the house! I love car rides and especially getting treats from that magic pull-up window! Why can't I sit on your lap? I walk well on my leash and love it when you think that you will get my toy back. Nope, nope, nope! My foster peeps are still assessing whether I am good with other dogs. I do well in dog parks but may be a tad resource aggressive. However, it's been a crazy few days, and we will check back here after more assessments.

To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Hey there, future best friend! My name's Ollie, and I've been hanging out at the rescue for a bit too long. I'm the kind of dog who's been overlooked because I'm more of a gentle giant than a lapdog. I'm hoping you're the kind of human who doesn't judge a book by its cover-or a dog by his size! I'm not your average Bulldog; I'm an 80-pound bundle of love with a heart as big as my paws. I've got dreams of finding a forever home where I can spread out, relax, and share all the love I've been saving up. Picture this: cozy evenings with you, a good book, and me by your side (I promise not to hog the blanket). Or maybe we're binge-watching the latest series, and I'm there to keep you company during those cliffhanger moments. I'm fully house trained, crate trained, and I've got manners to make any dog trainer proud(-ish). I'm healthy, sweet, and just plain awesome. I'm looking for a calm, peaceful home, preferably without cats or other big dogs. I would love a fenced yard all my own. I've enjoyed my time at the rescue, making friends and getting belly rubs, but I'm ready to find my quiet corner in a loving home. I'm the perfect companion for someone who appreciates the quieter things in life and wants a loyal friend to share them with. Let's make 2024 our year. I can't wait to meet you and start our adventures together.

There's nothing quite like snuggling up with Maeby after a long day. And let's talk snacks-Maeby is definitely a foodie! Whether it's a tasty treat or a savory chew, she savors every bite with gusto. Of course, Maeby's day isn't complete without a good nap. After all the excitement, she knows just how to recharge her batteries-by curling up for a peaceful snooze. Plus, we're thrilled to share that Maeby is potty trained, making her transition into our home smooth and easy. She will tell you when it's time to go by barking or ringing her bell. Being that I am not just an English Bulldog, I am an Olde English Bulldog. I've been well trained over the years in many things such as stay, lay down, soft hand, and a few more. I love just hanging out and being a buddy. Even though they call me a marshmallow, my passion is for sunbathing under that big, yellow ball in the sky. I like short walks around the yard and watching the cats in the neighborhood. If you let me, I will be your snuggle bunny and pal. I love to be scratched and will let you know when you're done. You can't go wrong picking me.

Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Rocco! Hello! I'm Rocco, a big-hearted 6-year-old Olde English Bulldog with a real knack for napping, making new friends, and sniffing out peanut butter! I'm a well-mannered guy-potty trained and quick with my commands-and I get along with everyone, including kids, other dogs, and even cats (as long as they respect my nap schedule!). I'm a pro at stairs, and while a yard would be a bonus, I'm mostly an indoor kind of guy who's happiest lounging with my people. I do love my walks and handle the leash pretty well, though I can be a bit stubborn (just a touch of personality!). Car rides are a favorite, too! Here are some fun facts about me: I'm a tug-of-war champion and peanut butter enthusiast. I'm on a special diet that's easy to find, so keeping me healthy and happy is a breeze. Just one small thing-I'm not the biggest fan of ear cleanings, but I'll always forgive you after. If you're looking for a best friend who is equal parts playful, cuddly, and full of love, I could be the perfect addition to your family!

FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care with 2 other small dogs) Introducing Yogi! He is a 4-year-old, 80lb Olde English Bulldog who came to us from as an owner surrender from CA after they could no longer care for him. Yogi is a handsome silver-tri color boy that is super sweet, loving, and enjoys being with his people. He has done well around other small dogs, but doesn’t care for larger, rambunctious dogs. Yogi has a dry eye condition that completely manageable with prescription drops. It as little as 5 minutes 2x a day. Bully is a couch potato that loves to cuddle and thinks he's a 80lb lapdog. He's a happy, easy-going dog that loves your company. Yogi is doing great with manners training. He can be excitable, but he's a great listener and very attentive. He's also potty-trained and loves to sleep and snore. Yogi is pretty wrinkly and will make noises, snores, hums, and bubbles. Bulldogs need regular skin maintenance and require good dog food. Yogi's not food sensitive, but certain foods will make him flatulent. He also belches a lot! Anyone looking for a large bully breed will love his sweetness and companionship. Yogi is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $650.

Story
Tater - Olde English Bulldoggee - 8yrs old 2016 My family adopted Tater from a breeder as a puppy. My 3 boys were fanatic about Tater and enjoyed him to the fullest. 2020 My family expanded with the arrival of my 4th boy. Tater spends his days lounging on the couch, snoring and relaxing. Always happy and gets excited when he gets pet and we join him on the couch. Due to the size of Tater, I kept him clear of my new baby. Now my boy is 4yrs old and wanting to bond with Tater. Unfortunately Tater nipped at my 4yr old after Tater witnessed me and the older boys roughing around. Wasn' provoked, just out of no where and he had to get stitches on his lip. If you have young kids, I do not recommen Tater. Teenagers he is great with!!! This has led me determined to find a new home for Tater ASAP. I have all his vet details and adoption paperwork from the original breeder. Please reach out if your interested to take on this loving beast. He is up there in age and I am hopeful he can finish his

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Hi, my name is Emerald and I'm 47 lbs. of cuddly sweetness once I know I can trust you. I'm a 4-year-old EB mix and my foster mom calls me "sweet girl". I'm crate trained but would rather spend my time with my humans rather than be in my crate too often. I'm completely potty trained and haven't had an accident yet. However, if I get really stressed out, such as a trip to the doggy Dr, I stress poo and need to go RIGHT NOW, but you'll know I'm stressed before it happens!! I spent a lot of time in my crate in my last home, so I haven't been socialized and am learning how to interact with strangers and other animals. I also wasn't leash trained, but my foster mom got me a snazzy new harness and we go on walks every day. I am still very scared and reactive to all of the new sounds and people/animals in the world, so my foster mom has been teaching me how to "leave it and sit." When I get overwhelmed while we're out and about, this prompts me to sit down for a treat (she keeps a stash in her pocket) and this distracts me from what spooked me. I'm very sensitive to "stranger danger" and fear strangers, so I need slow introductions in a safe space, but the people I've met so far have won me over eventually (treats are a good icebreaker). However, I do get very protective of my home and human, so when someone comes to the door, I let them know I'm the great protector of this home. I have some skin issues that my foster mom is helping me with, but they won't stop me from becoming adoptable! I'm very good at bath time and play statue until I'm told it's ok to jump out. As is normal for a bulldog, I will need a limited diet and regular maintenance to keep my skin allergies under control, other than that, I'm recently spayed and healthy! I am so eager to please you once I know I can trust you, and I get hurt feelings and pout when my foster mom scolds me. I love to wiggle my butt and cuddle, I LOVE to play with my toys and chew my bones, and I like to stick my nose into everything my foster mom is doing in case she needs my assistance. I will do best in a child-free home as I get stressed out with the little ones. I will do best as the only animal and queen of my castle so hopefully you don't have any dogs or cats. My foster mom has gotten quite smitten with me; she tells me how smart I am and calls me "silly girl" when I get frisky with my toys and toss them around then chase them. I can entertain myself with my toys and then I'm ready for a nice long nap, preferably on the couch with you, or in my bed on the floor near you. Because I still need work with socialization and acclimating to the scary busy world around me, I would do best with someone that has dog experience and can be VERY patient with me while I blossom and continually learn to trust humans. My foster mom says I have LOTS of potential and l have sooooo much love to give to the right home. So, if you think you could be patient with me and my needs and love me unconditionally, I would be sooooo happy to meet you and find my Furever best human and home. I think I could be your best little cuddle buddy if you take a chance on me, and I'll show you how well I can toss my own toys then chase after them!

Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ SSSB ALERT!!! (Super Sweet Special Boy): Hulk is a lovebug! He is a 3-year-old, 75lb. Old English Bulldog. Don't let his unique look fool you. He is all bulldog! Allergies, skin issues. The good news? We know what he is allergic to. We even have diet suggestions that will help going forward. In the past year, Hulk has undergone two major types of surgeries. Both knees, and both eyes! Currently, Hulk has a bit of weakness in his hind legs (but don't tell him) and needs compounding eye drops for both eyes, 2x daily. Even though Hulk is super sweet, we recommend that he goes to a household that has owned a bulldog previously or has older kids. He is strong and can unknowingly knock you over. He is a happy, energetic boy, who wants to be part of it all. Mostly, ALL of your lap! He currently is living with a small dog and a dog savvy cat. He can be triggered by dogs his size or larger, slow, monitored introductions would be recommended. Good with kids - ages 10 and up suggested. He would thrive having other animals in his living situation but would also love to be the only SSSB! Do you have room for this "lapdog" in your life?

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ I'm a good girl who's had a *ruff start in life. My foster parents don't know my history because I was dumped behind a bar in Portland, OR so we're learning together. I start off shy, but that's because I had a scary past. I just need to be reassured that you're going to love me and that I can trust you, and I will be your goodest, silliest girl. I will follow you everywhere, making sure that you're safe when you are at your most vulnerable...going to the bathroom. I take that job seriously. I can't fetch you toilet paper, or a towel, but I will commiserate with you if you find yourself in those situations. That's what goodest girls do. I would love a home with a yard so that I can really get my zoomies on, but I'm good in an apartment too. I'm a pro with stairs, but that doesn't mean I like them. Just sayin'. I definitely enjoy my walks, but I'm a strong girl and will pull you so you need to reign me in sometimes. I know I need someone with some bulldog experience because I can be a bit headstrong and if you give me an inch, I'll take that mile. An active (but not overly) family with older kids so that we can go to parks, and things of that nature. I'm learning about play, so it would be a lot of fun to learn how to play with a family. I love it when my foster mom puts treats in my Kong and then makes me figure out how to get those nom noms. I am potty and crate trained. I give subtle signs, so if you miss them, I'm sorry. If you have to walk me for potty breaks, just know there needs to be a "certain vibe" going on in order for me to feel comfortable to go. It can take a bit of time, walking, and quite possibly bushes for me to go behind to discreetly do my business.
