Story
Sawyer is a “Pocket Bully” born in September 2018 with a cleft lip, cleft palate, and spina bifida. He is currently eating and drinking safely on his own and we don’t believe his cleft lip/palate will require any surgical intervention. Sawyer will always need a little extra supervision to make sure he doesn’t eat anything dangerous for him, and will never be able to safely eat wet or goopy foods like canned food, peanut butter, yogurt, or any other liquids other than water. But otherwise he is expected to live a long, healthy life. The spina bifida causes Sawyer to be incontinent and to have some weakness in his back legs. He can walk and get around very well, but he will be in diapers for the rest of his life. He is a very happy, spunky pup and is friendly with humans and other dogs. He needs a committed home willing to give him the extra care he needs to thrive. Sawyer has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is also micro chipped. Story
Meet Penelope, or as her friends like to call her, Peeps! She’s an adorable 8-year-old English Bulldog full of personality. Now, don’t let her stubborn streak fool you; this sweet girl is all about enjoying life in her own laid-back way. Peeps has a pretty simple routine that she absolutely loves. You can often find her napping — and we mean really napping — sprawled out in her comfy bed, your bed, or snuggled up on the couch. But when she’s not catching some Z’s, she loves to lounge on the porch, soaking up the sun and keeping an eye on the world around her. You might say she’s the neighborhood’s unofficial watch dog, but with a dash of charm! Now, Peeps does prefer to be the star of the show, so she’s looking for a home where she can be the one and only pet. She’s a bit older, so climbing stairs isn’t her forte. A nice backyard would be perfect for her to enjoy the outdoors without too much effort. And if you love people, you’re in luck—Peeps is excited to meet new friends, especially you! She’s already crate-trained but still working on house training. Just a heads up: Peeps has a chicken allergy, so she needs to stick to her special diet. Also, she’s not a fan of anything that resembles a stick, like vacuums or mops, so she’s happiest when she can chill in her crate while things are getting tidied up around the house. Peeps has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm, and is microchipped for her safety. Meet Midge! She’s an adorable 8-year-old spayed American Bulldog mix with a heart of gold. Midge absolutely adores people and is great with kids, makiMng her the perfect family pet. She also loves hanging out with dogs of all shapes and sizes. If you have a cat that can hold its own, Midge might just enjoy their company too—though she can’t resist a good chase if they scurry away! Midge is already house trained. She genuinely loves everyone she meets, and it’s suggested that having another dog around would make her even happier. Midge was found as a stray, so we don’t know her full story, but what we do know is she’s ready to fill your life with joy and companionship! Midge has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm an///d is microchipped.
