At Home: Roams freely. Keep small objects & documents off the floor In the Car: Always uses a dog seatbelt Sleep: Sleeps with a blanket, in a kennel w/ the door open, or any room. Enjoys sunbathing. Food: Eats fruits-apples, pears, blueberries, bananas, frozen veggies, cooked food, kibble, treats, and Greenies after meals Potty: Potty trained in/outdoors Hygiene: Enjoys warm baths and stays still Allergies: Bites/licks paws during allergy season. Exercise: Active, loves sniffing. Gets 30 min walk and 15 min playtime daily. Leash trained. If bad weather, plays fetch indoors or in the backyard Commands: Knows basic commands +. Needs practice for consistency Good Around: Loyal and playful with family, good at the vet, no issues w/ fireworks Needs Work: Resource guards toys; supervision recommended. Can annoy/hump other dogs at park; steer away from conflict. Always use a leash, expect some pulling

Meet Manny….this sweet boy came to the Euless shelter as a stray, extremely malnourished and with happy tail syndrome. Despite undergoing a partial tail amputation surgery and several followup vet visits, he is one of the happiest dogs you’ll meet.   At 3 years old, he still has the playfulness of a puppy, but without all the trials of training. Manny is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a harness and loves car rides.  He knows basic commands and his foster family has been working with him to learn more and say he is a very smart, quick study.  Manny enjoys playing with his toys, especially BALLS and chasing after them. He has excellent house manners and does well with children and lives side by side with guinea pigs without issue. As much as he loves to play, he’s happy to settle down and snuggle up next to his people. Manny prefers to be the only dog and will do best in a home with a fully fenced backyard.    Manny is an American Bulldog/Staffordshire terrier mix, with a beautiful, healthy white coat. He’s been able to gain a little weight and is up to 53 lbs. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet our pretty Pink!   This 24 month old English Bulldog is not only a cutie but one of the sweetest dog you will ever meet.  Pink came to the shelter after being picked up walking alone on the streets.   Surprisingly, no one claimed her.   She has had some litters of puppies, so we know she was used for breeding.  Pink loves to chill out on the couch and sleeps through the night.   Since she is young, she has energy and loves to play and run.   She enjoys chewing, so keep you shoes in the closet.   She loves her chew toys.  Pink is doing much better with her potty training and is almost totally trained now.  Her new owner will need to follow through on her training.   Pink loves to play with people and other dogs, but she does not realize she weighs 55 pounds, so we suggest children 10 and over.   She sort of thinks she is a lap dog.  Pink is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm negative.   If you would like to meet this great girl, please email Maria Bradford riply82@hotmail.comSeptember 14, 2024, 10:01 pm
