Story
My name is Gunther.  It means Warrior.  I’m a little older guy who’s been through some stuff.  When I came here, I was so sick.  I had an upper-respiratory infection, a urinary tract infection, hookworms, heartworms, knee problems…I was so tired…I could barely walk and I was about 20 pounds under weight.  I battled back because I am a warrior.  But they tell me I’m also a goofball.  I like laying on the couch with my people; naps are my favorite thing. Hello, my name is Yoda! I`m 28lbs of pure love and affection. A lap dog and a lover of attention! I don`t bark a lot unless I`m communicating my wants and needs with you. I do well with other dogs but don`t need another four legged companion. My foster works from home and I`m liking that a lot! I do get startled with young, active children that make fast movements. An adult household would be more my speed. With my good looks, dynamic personality, and small stature, I`m a catch! Please complete an application so I can hurry up and find a home that`s a good fit.My adoption fee of $550 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Hi, I`m Ms. Piggie!The nice lady that found me says cutest little sweet potato you will ever meet! She named me Ms Piggy because of my short wide build and constant piggy snorts which people seem to think is adorable. At 45 lbs I am a compact little ball of love, but I am also super strong so I need my people to be strong too and my human siblings to be big enough to play with me safely. I am a bit bashful at first, people haven’t always been kind to me, but quickly fall in love once I realize you are one of the good ones. I just love to play and would be so happy with an active family that has lots of time to spend loving me! I want to be the center of your world so other pets might not be best. I love getting dressed up in pretty sweaters and coats for cold walks and the lady says I look just adorable in her fancy attire. Once we have lots of fun and my energy is spent I am ready to the snuggly couch potato. I must warn you that I snore!Adoption fee $50Ms. Piggie is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee.
