Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Meet Handsome Huey! He is currently 11 pounds, 8 weeks old, and we think he may be an American Bulldog mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Huey’s video here: This gorgeous boy is absolutely adorable - one look at Huey will have you head over heels for this handsome pup! Huey is a striking white with brown and black brindle pattern on his face and body. The white at the tip of his tail is just the icing on the cake. We love his squishy face and think it’s practically impossible to resist those floppy puppy ears. (We’ve tried, and failed every time, lol.) But it’s this loving fellow’s personality that will seal the deal - Huey loves to snuggle and play. He is an affectionate little guy, which is a very good thing considering how often you will want to pick him up and squish him (gently, of course). Huey loves playing with soft stuffies and chew toys, and you will enjoy watching him snuggle and play with them too. The Huey Show will provide hours of entertainment, and it’s a show that we would watch all day if we could. Huey will cautiously explore everything around him at first, until he feels comfortable and then? Let the romping and puppy play begin! We love to watch his white-tipped tail wag like a flag when he’s interested and engaged - Huey will have you smiling and chuckling at all of his playful puppy antics. Huey is currently in a loving foster home with his two brothers and foster siblings (and even a cat), so he is used to playing with other dogs of all sizes. Huey and his brothers are sleeping through the night and starting to learn all the puppy ropes. Their days are mostly spent living the classic puppy life - eat, sleep, play, and repeat. Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy!
