REMI IS DEAF
Meet Remi: The Perfect Adventure Buddy
Remi has been waiting for his forever home for over 18 months—540 days to be exact! Despite the challenges, we have never given up on this sweet boy. Remi is deaf, but that doesn’t slow him down at all! In fact, for the past 5 months, he’s been working hard at a professional training facility and is ready to show off his skills.
What Makes Remi Special:
• Housebroken: Remi does well most of the time but may have an occasional accident if unsupervised or if he gets too excited. He wears a belly band diaper inside just to be safe.
• Crate trained: Yes, he’s comfortable and well-behaved in his crate.
• Knows sign language: Remi understands hand signals and knows to look to his person for what to do next. He’s a quick learner!
• Energy level: High-energy and requires daily walks, runs, and mental stimulation to keep him happy and balanced.
• Good with small dogs: He does well around small dogs, but due to his strength and energy, he’s best suited for a home with dogs his size or bigger to avoid accidentally hurting the little ones.
• Good with big dogs: Yes, he loves playing with dogs his size or larger.
• Good with cats: We haven’t met a cat yet, so we’re not sure how he’d react.
• Good with men, women, and kids: Remi loves everyone—men, women, and children.
Remi is an active pup who loves hiking, long walks, running, and playing hard. He’s searching for a partner with a similar active lifestyle who will continue working with him on his training. He thrives on pleasing his people and is ready to be your loyal, energetic sidekick.
We have chosen not to give up on Remi, and we know there’s a perfect match out there for him. If you’re not in a position to adopt but still want to help, please consider donating in Remi’s name to support his care and training.
Let’s help Remi find the forever home he deserves! Share his story, donate, or reach out if you think you might be the one he’s been waiting for.
