Story
This pretty little English Bulldog girl is called Natasha and she is guessed to be 8 years or a little more, and weighs 42 lb. She was found at a construction site wandering as a stray in a small town in Middle Tennessee.  The people that found her couldn't believe that such a sweet girl could possibly be lost.  After posts were made on Facebook and social media, no one ever came forward to claim her. The shelter was full at her small town and the people that found her just could not take her there even if it could accept her. She's too special. This little girl is recovering from a former flea infestation and has some patches on her back that are missing hair but growing hair back now.  She's got the normal senior hip arthritis and needs some pain meds from time to time and some good joint medicine will help a great deal. Her teeth are good, her eyesight is fine and her sweet personality is over the top of the chart. She's affectionate with everyone and oh so sweet. We have found her to be good with other dogs and housebroken. We have not tried her with cats,  but she seems to have the personality that would be loving and welcoming to all creatures that she meets. She walks a little slower as can be expected at her age, but she exudes a gratitude for having been given a place to stay.  As they always say, a rescue dog will always let you know that they appreciate what you have done for them.  With Natasha you can see it in her eyes and her spirit. She is a joy that someone needs to have in their life.   If you understand the Bulldog breed, then you will be happy to know that this is a rare girl to be offered. She's healthy and all other ways except a little arthritis and missing a little bit of hair. Natasha is special and we are looking for that very special person or family to adopt her. Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested. Please mention where you live since we adopt not only to Tennessee residents but also to Northeastern states and we transport there PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
contact foster parent at lashleydunc11@aol.comIndy is a sweet boy approx 3 years old. He walks nicely on leash with a harness; loves to play with toys - and occasionally will take one on his walks! He’s energetic and playful, but also loves to lay in the grass and chill. Indy is good in the car, smart and trainable- he already knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’ . Indy has been here too long and needs to find his forever home soon!-loves children-housebroken and crate trained-non-destructive-dog friendly*-cat tolerant-great dog for a variety of familiesIndy is really fun dog with a great off button. He loves to get out and play; would in fact make the perfect running companion or even sport dog. However if chilling on the couch all day is more your speed, he is game for that too! He will just expect cuddles; personal space is not in his vocabulary. He thrives off human attention and love! He is a smart boy and has his unique quirks too. He loves long grass and standing on outdoor furniture (he learned that we in fact cannot stand on the inside dining table but foster mom does not care if I stand on the outdoor table, pool box, pool recliner or anything else outside). Really, he is probably part billy goat without the headbutts to your gonads. So if you ever wanted a pet goat but your stinky HOA won`t let you have one......*He loves playing with other dogs! He does have a rough style of play so would need to be with another dog that can match that or be tolerant of that. However he is not a fan of sharing his beloved toys or food. So separate feeding areas and toy times needed. He is learning his cat manners. He seems to want to play but he is a bit too rough to play with a cat; we are working on this. And finally, Indy is absolutely great with children. He is very attentive to their needs; even carefully keeping small ones away from sharp corners and stairs.Indy would do great as a single dog or with neutral doggy siblings. I can absolutely pictures him living it up in a bachelor pad or with a young family. He would honestly be great at both.Last note; Indy has some mad hops. He needs at least a 4.5 ft tall fence if let out in a fenced area.
