Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Needs a yard with a tall fence Calvin is an irresistibly charming snuggle bug with a penchant for frozen peanut butter Kongs and Kong Wubba toys! His tastes are not confined to specific treats - he is a connoisseur of all. With a preference for solitude, Calvin is all the dog you'll need and a perfect companion for someone seeking a single pet household. He's not a fan of feline friends, so a cat-free home would suit him best. Calvin's a star at following commands and loves engaging in stimulating activities. With a distinctive and endearing way of lying down, Calvin adds a touch of humor to everyday life. Calvin's strikingly handsome face, complemented by his super soft black and white fur, is simply impossible to resist. Inside the house, Calvin is a pretty mellow pup and the perfect snuggle companion. Calvin has mastered the art of crate training and is close to perfecting staying on “place”. RUSTY (watch my video!) Male, neutered 3 years old American Bulldog 64 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Crate trained, house trained. Good with cats, dogs and kids Rusty is a sweet, cuddly and playful boy who was saved from PG County Shelter's urgent list. He had entropion on both eyes when we brought him into Lovepaws which clearly made him very uncomfortable so we had corrective surgery done right away which provided almost instant relief. We are unsure how he came to be at the shelter but everyone who meets him asks “how could anyone give him up?” He’s got a lot of puppy energy, is a very happy boy and loves to snuggle and give affection. He is very social and wants to meet every person and dog in his sight. He wags his entire body when he meets someone or sees a human he loves! He sometimes thinks he is a lap dog and is very snuggly. He leans his head on his foster’s shoulder in a puppy hug. He’s got a deep bark but only uses it when he sees/hears something outside of the house or yard. He is very curious about his co-resident cat and shows all friendly signs but the cat is not interested! He’s played well with his foster sibling dog and is always friendly and playful. He loves toys, and has a lot of fun chasing a big rubber/plastic ball with a tennis ball inside of it. He also loves a kong filled with treats! His favorite day would be a good long walk and to play fetch for a while. He’d love to get some treats and snuggle on the floor or bean bag with his foster mom or human brother to watch some TV and snooze. He would also really love to play with other dogs! Adopters will be required to sign a spay/neuter addendum (including paying a refundable $100 spay/neuter fee) and a training addendum as part of the adoption contract.
