Born: May 27, 2023 I am 56lbs and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $450 Meet Cortez, a dashing one-year-old American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix who’s ready to steal your heart! Found as a stray in Kentucky, this handsome boy has quickly become a favorite with his friendly and affectionate nature. Cortez is great with kids and other dogs, making him an ideal companion for families and multi-pet households. A true model of canine cleanliness, he always keeps his kennel neat and tidy. Cortez walks well on a leash and makes every walk enjoyable with his enthusiasm and friendly nature. He also knows the command "sit," showcasing his smarts and eagerness to please. His playful and goofy side will keep you smiling, while his loving demeanor will make you feel truly special. If you’re seeking a devoted and fun-loving addition to your family, Cortez could be the perfect fit! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
