Story
Gunny absolutely adores people and an abundence of attention. She is a genuinly happy dog who deserves a wonderful home with her person/people that can dote on her and give her the attention she constantly seeks. Gunny was left chained outside of a strip mall with evidence of abuse. She has a large scar that circles her neck, is fearful of loud noises, can be easily startled and does not like being picked up. She is apprehensive with anyone approaching her from behind. She is initially wary of men and only tolerates submissive dogs. So far we have had zero incidents children, however, because of her somewhat anxious nature, we don't recommend her being unsupervised around young children. Gunny will need an experienced adopter to continue to help in her rehibiliation. She deserves a chance at living her best life with her forever home.

URGENT - THIS DOG'S LIFE IS IN DANGER. THEY ARE ON THE DEADLINE LIST - THE SHELTER IS FULL! WE ARE COURTESY POSTING THIS DOG FOR THE MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER TO HELP THEM FIND A HOME. The shelter is severely overcrowded and desperately needs help. Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate, therefore many are losing their lives due to lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out of their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today! This beautiful dog is located in the Moreno Valley shelter. Please feel free to reach out to us with questions.
