Story
I temporarily adopted these guys from a shelter, they were to be put down because of their age. They were surrendered by the next of kin of their owner after they passed away. The little pug mix Toby got my 2 year old daughters attention and they both just lit up when we said hi to them. I brought them home after Toby had a mass removed from his leg. They both settled in flawlessly. My resident dog who usually hates other dogs doesnt mind them. Theyre amazing with my 2 year old and my 10month old who is crawling and sharing all his snacks with them. They also love our tiny cat. Theyre both old, Id say Toby has atleast 5 more years in him. Bazooka maybe 2. But theyre such loving couch potatoes and turn into wiggly puppies when you greet them. I would keep them but I already have so many other critters. I just wanted to give them a second chance. Theyre not food aggressive and have pretty good recall for old dogs. They just want love. They will go together, Toby is a 17 lb Chihuahua/pug.
