Hi Sweet and Kind Humans my name is Georgie and I am looking for a LOVING and DEVOTED Person to take me home and give me the life I should have had from the start! My story is a sad and weird one to say the least and kinda long so here it goes...bear with me now! I was living with another dog but he kept attacking me so our owner gave us to a rescue. Failed by a human already! Sooooo I was adopted out and lived with someone for maybe a year and then this person decided they couldn't take care of me so they started reaching out to other rescues to take me in and I had a bunch of medical issues by this time! Now this second human who failed me claimed that they reached out to my original rescue for a year to take me back-but no one really knows the story, so the kind humans helping me NOW can only go by the conflicting things they were being told, ohhhh if only I could speak human, but they don't care they just want to FIND ME A LOVING HOME! The rescue who originally got me has since closed down and but got me into a foster home (we think, not sure what happened) but that foster home also FAILED me because I ended up turned in as a stray at an awful pound out in the middle of no man's land in pretty bad shape! Failed for the THIRD time now in my short life span. I literally had NOWHERE to go and was sitting in pain and not feeling well so on a wing and a PRAYER another rescue got me OUT and the medical care I so badly needed and promised me I would only know LOVE and COMFORT from now one...SO HERE I AM! A little more about Me!: I am a super duper cute and SWEET as pie, MELLOW Male 4 year old Olde English Bulldog who absolutely LOVES and ADORES everyone I meet! I can be selective with other dogs so I'd rather be your one and only so I can have all of the love! I'm good with kids but I might knock a small human over accidentally so a home with older kids is a possibility! I like to take short walks and love nothing but to be next a person and have them give me pets I have the most cutest little stubby tail that wiggles when I am Happy, and I'm soooooo Happy now cause I feel so much better! Hi! I’m Spitfire, 5 year old Purebred Olde English Bulldog. I have all my paper work and currently utd on shots. I’m looking for my new best friend and I want to make you very happy like I do for my current best friend! I love people and being around them so hopefully we can have lots of adventures. I have done obedience training and eager to please and work. I’ve been told that I’ve taken to training really well, so if you want to do more intensive training just know I will love it and will work! It seemed the first 2 clients that came to see him had unusually tall men and he was afraid of them. Showing us something from his past. . now he is confident and loves everyone and life! He has the best smile on his face all the time and always happy to go for a trail walk, play with you and other dogs get love. He will make the most amazing companion for you and your family. Your current dog will love his company. He is fun, would love to go to the beach, hiking, camping, car rides, curl up and watch movies, keep you good company. He lives with a sweet female and they love to give each other kisses. His markings and his long legs seem to fit the description of a Catahoula white leopard colored dog. He has a kind personality, very loving, sweet, and dog friendly. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped. Sweet Adele came to us as a stray. She was in very bad shape, having massive wounds covering her back, that were infected and full of maggots (sorry, we know that’s gross) She was sick, injured, sad, and lost, but still sweet and grateful for the help. We’re still not sure what happened to her, just that she was neglected and needed treatment and time to heal. Our Medical Staff watched over her vigilantly and our volunteers paid for additional specialized Veterinarian care. Our volunteers also coordinated numerous transports in their own vehicles to make sure that she was at every appointment (our volunteers’ rock!) She is now ready to start her new life with someone special. Could that be you?Adele isn’t crazy about other dogs, so a meet and greet with yours is a must. She may be okay with an easy-going male dog, but again, that is a maybe. She would be happy being the only piglet in the home. Adele seems to know the difference about going potty outside, vs inside, so that is a plus and she should be easily trained on how her new household works. We don’t want to scare anyone away, yet Adele will need some follow up medical care after adoption. Please read what our veterinarian explains below. If you are interested, someone from our Vet Staff would be happy to speak with you about it further. Both knees have medical concerns. She has left sided medial patellar luxation, she has right sided cruciate tear. It would be recommended to repair the right cruciate surgically. She also has the typical English bulldog upper respiratory problems, so it is recommended to perform the BOAS surgery which opens up her nares and surgically fix her soft palate. The BOAS surgery really needs to be done at a specialty clinic, and ALL bulldogs SHOULD do it. She has been walking okay as a house puppy as long as she stays trim and doesn`t get overweight, that will help immensely. She also has the idiopathic head bobbing which can be seen in this breed as well. It happens when she seems to be stressed or anxious, when she was kept back in medial where it was quieter we never really saw it, now that she is in the runs it has been reported more frequently.
