Story
Are you ready to bring a little muddy fun and a lot of love into your life? Buddy is a 1-year-old, 70 pound, handsome Old English Sheepdog with a heart full of love and energy to match (well, he is really cute when he hasn’t just had a lot of fun playing outside)! He is looking for a special person to help him grow into the amazing companion he’s meant to be. Buddy came from a challenging situation—rescued from a hoarding environment alongside his brother, Blue (not yet available for adoption). Due to his past, Buddy missed out on early socialization and training, leaving him with the playful curiosity of a giant 12-week-old puppy. Despite his rocky start, Buddy’s heart is full of love and potential. About Buddy: - Puppy Energy Galore: This big guy has an exuberance that will fill your days with joy and adventure. - Crate Trained & Responsive: He comes when called, listens well, and loves treats—a promising start for continued training! - Friendly with Time: He may take a little while to warm up to new people but becomes a sweet companion once properly introduced. - Leash Learning Star: His foster mom says she can walk him on a leash…which is a huge improvement from when he first arrived and she described him as walking a kangaroo on steroids! What Buddy Needs in his Furever Home: - An Experienced & Patient Trainer: Buddy needs someone willing to dedicate time and effort to teaching him social skills and structure. - A Solo Dog Household (NO cats): Buddy prefers to be the center of attention, so he’ll do best as an only pet. - A Secure, Fenced Yard: He loves the outdoors but needs a safe space to play and explore. Buddy’s goofy charm, playful nature, and potential for growth make him a fantastic companion for the right person. If you’re ready to give Buddy the love, structure, and home he deserves, he’ll repay you with loyalty and laughter for years to come! Buddy is located between Rochester and Buffalo NY. Are you ready to change Buddy’s life—and let him change yours? Contact us to meet him and take the first step toward his happily ever after. Let’s find Buddy the loving home he’s been waiting for! Please fill out an adoption application before you contact the placement team. (https://membership.neoesr.org/OL-Adoption.php)

Story
Harper is a stunning 3-year-old, 65-pound Sheepadoodle searching for her perfect forever home. This spayed beauty is full of energy and ready to bring joy to the right family. Harper is a quick learner who knows basic commands like “sit,” “down,” “stay,” “come,” and “place.” While she’s still refining her leash manners, her intelligence and eagerness make her a pleasure to train. She’s also familiar with invisible fences, adding to her adaptability. When it comes to grooming, Harper is a pro and handles trips to the groomer like a star. She’s also a quiet and content passenger on car rides, making her a wonderful travel companion. Harper’s ideal home would be one where she’s the only dog, as she thrives on being the center of attention. She’d also do best in a household without young children, as her herding instincts can lead to barking and jumping during playtime with little ones. If you’re searching for a loyal, trainable, and loving companion, Harper could be the perfect fit for you! Ready to meet her? She’s waiting to make your home complete. Harper is located in Dorsett, VT. Fill out an adoption application and let the placement team know you are interested in Harper. (https://membership.neoesr.org/OL-Adoption.php)
