Story
Haven is a 3 year old (turning 4!) Old English Sheepdog x Standard Poodle mix. She weighs 70 lbs. Haven is a very good dog, but has very typical breed behaviors. She is a herding dog through and through. Would do best in a home without small animals or children. She needs someone who will commit time to training her. She did very well during her grooming here at our facility. Haven would be considered dog selective --- a laid back friend might be a better match for her than a playful one but we are still getting a feel for her needs. Fast movement from other animals and kids triggers herding behaviors like mouthing/biting for her which is why she needs just the right family to be the best dog she can be. Her adoption fee is $150 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and negative heartworm test.
