Story
Winslow came to IAR because his owner passed away in May and he had nowhere to go, so a kindhearted individual took him in and he eventually entered the foster program. He quickly proved that he is a special kitty deserving of a loving, indoor home! Winslow is funny, kinda quirky and loves getting attention. He's a TOTAL LAP KITTY and will just lay in your lap while being affectionate and giving you motor purrs. He loves the string toy and has a playful personality. He's full of energy and doesn't mind being the center of attention. Winslow enjoys a big cat tree and some scratching posts. He's so passionate about playtime and snuggles, he will sometimes give a playful nip when he's trying to show affectionate/kitten-like side. He loves food and is very food-motivated. Winslow came from a place with other cats so would do well in a home with other cats to bond with. Winslow is so deserving of a good home with love and affection. If you'd like to learn more about Winslow, apply to meet him and let's help find him a sweet, loving home.

Story
Meet Barneby, a sweet, gentle soul whose journey from the streets to a warm barn home was filled with uncertainty, but also with hope. Once a kitty at risk in a shelter, saved then to barn home life, Barneby found himself in need of care after the harsh cold took its toll on his health. But fate had a beautiful plan in store for him. When humans stepped in to offer the medical attention and warmth he desperately needed, Barneby knew he had found his place in the world. It didn’t take long for him to trust again. In the safety of human care, Barneby blossomed into the affectionate, happy boy he is today. With his big, rumbling purrs and his love for being showered with attention, Barneby is the ultimate lap cat. He adores being petted, doted over, and simply being near you. His gratitude shines through in every sweet nuzzle, and his playful, silly side never fails to make you smile. Barneby’s heart is full of joy, and his spirit is proof that love and kindness can heal even the most uncertain of beginnings. He’s not just a cat – he’s a reminder of how resilient and wonderful life can be when we have the love and care we deserve. And with his loving nature, Barneby will forever be the happy, grateful kitty who knows that home is where the heart is. Barney loves everyone, every kitty, and every dog he meets! He should be adopted along with his housemate Princess or into a home with another kitty who will snuggle, play and be his friend.

Story
Meet Millie, a sweet and gentle brown tabby with soft, short fur and a heart full of love. Millie adores her people and thrives on human companionship. Playful and affectionate, she’s the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and fun-loving kitty. Millie’s journey hasn’t been easy—she’s been surrendered a few times due to circumstances beyond her control, but she’s never let that dim her spirit. Millie will do best as a solo cat, as she tends to misunderstand other cats (or maybe they misunderstand her!). What she truly longs for is a stable, loving home where she can feel secure and cherished. Her foster mom is determined to find her special place in the world. If you’re looking for a loyal, lifelong companion, Millie might just be the one to complete your family. She would do well with a solo person who is home often or works from home, or with a couple to small family. She has also been known to coexist well with cat friendly doggies and she may enjoy a polite doggies as a friend too.
