Story
Hi! I’m an Ocicat mix, full of love, cuteness, and playful energy. I’m a total purring machine and absolutely love my cuddles! I’m all ready for my new home—I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and my fecal test came back negative. I’m also FIV and FELV tested (both negative). I get along well with calm dogs and other furry friends. I can’t wait to find my forever family—maybe it’s you!

Story
Turkey was likely born around early Summer of 2023 - she is mom of the five "X-MEOW" kittens born in March 2024. She has a coat of soft, snow white with patches of brown Tabby brindle across the top, upper sides, and tail. First appearing in her foster dads' patio last Thanksgiving is what earned her the name, Turkey! What Turkey loves: Turkey is bonded to her daughter Raven. Turkey appreciates all things calm & gentle! She loves quiet time and safe, comfy spaces where she can decompress. She also loves being spoken to in a loving, positive voice... From there, she enjoys being pet, especially on her temples and across her back. When she's most comfortable and feeling free, she will lay on her back and roll around while looking at you. That's her invitation for you to pet her, as well as a perfect time to converse with her lovingly. She enjoys gentle interactive play and soft, small toys that can be tossed around. She also likes watching birds and lizards play out the window, and would chase bugs if she could. Turkey enjoys playtime more when things are more calm and not rowdy with too many cats involved at once. All of the X-meows enjoy watching the "Cats 24/7" and "Pet Collective" channels on the free PlutoTV streaming app. And for sleepy time, they really love & appreciate the YouTube "Cats Only" channel, especially the Harp Music + Purring video... though any music + purring video there will do! What Turkey has: All of the X-meow kitties have a nightly satisfying serving of canned pate' cat food, as well as anytime access to premium dry food that's replenished twice daily. They also have a constant running water fountain to drink from. They live separately from our main house cats, in a 300SF pool house that's air conditioned and adorned with cushion beds, play trees, tunnels, a hammock, and of course several toys. They've shared two jumbo-size stainless steel litter boxes that are cleaned twice a day. The room is automatically cleaned daily by a robot vac that the kitties all find amusing, as well as cleaned weekly by a human with a regular vacuum! In addition to their scheduled vaccinations, the X-meow kitties receive a topical flea treatment the first day of each month, as well as have their environment safely maintained to prevent flea growth. All have been spayed / neutered. As for play and attention, their CatDads spend hours a day with them! They are all fun and loving, each in their own unique way, and we shower them with as much love as possible! Love and patience. Turkey became a mom at a very young age; she's physically still very much a kitten herself. Her pregnancy and the birth were smooth, but being a mom to 5 kittens was stressful for a kitty of her smaller stature - so she's still re-energizing herself from the experience, while her kids are in full-kitten mode. Gentle petting, lots of loving, soft verbal communication & praise... means the word to her, which you'll see every time she makes dreamy-eyes at you. Turkey is still working on feeling safe being picked up, so she'll need help by a small pinching of the scruff of her neck while your other hand picks her up. She understands what that is and why - she's very aware of herself! With time and regular, brief training by exposure, she will become more at ease with it. She also needs the kind of cat parent who sees her as a special relationship, not just a pet / owner. She will also give first place in line to someone who adopts her along with one of her fellow "X-Meows!" Her best bond is with daughter Raven. While all the siblings love Turkey, Raven is the most in-tune with and attentive toward her. All of them have unique bonds with each other, so they will each feel safe and happy more easily, and more likely successfully adapt in your home & heart if they can do so being together. And to make that journey a little easier, Turkey and her adopted X-MEOW companion come with accessories! Including a new stainless steel litter box & scoop, a new second cat carrier (since you'll be needing two!), and more!
