My name is Walker and I got the sad news that I'm needing a new family. But you know, that's ok, I know there is a person just for me, that will make my golden years the best ever!! You see, I'm around 8+ years and yes I'm getting up there in age. It may take me a minute to get up and my back legs aren't quite as sturdy and strong as before but I still do love to patrol my backyard, go for leisurely strolls and hang out with all my friends (and I make friends with everybody!). I love people both tall and small, I do great with other doggies and I'll make friends with any wildlife that wanders into my yard. Although I'm not sure of cats, I don't try to hurt them but I will chase them out of the yard. I come in at around 70lbs but it's mostly legs (they go on forever). Must be some Greyhound in my hairytage! I'm housetrained and will come when you call and I know to sit on command. I've got a very mellow, gentle low key personality that will make me a great family addition for a home with kids and other pets. I'm hoping for a home to call my very own, a place with a soft bed to lay my head. A home where I could have the honor to call you...family!! Won't you please fill out my adoption application?!! Hey all you fabulous people out there, I'm Mojito and I'm here searching for a family, a home...one that I can call my very own!! And since you're reading this I'm hoping maybe just maybe it could be with YOU?!! My name is Mojito but I'm sometimes called Meathead, Dammit, Get Down, Stop That and Mojo. And I answer to all of them!!! My foster mom wants you to know: He is very loving and wants to sit in your lap! I think he will do well with older kids. He will need someone that will be home most of the time. He has learned how to stay in a crate but is not happy about it. He does sleep in a crate at night and usually does well. He also identifies as a cat and loves to climb so he can see everything that goes on. He will get things off the counter if left alone. I didn't have a very good start in life and as a result have some separation anxiety but we have been working really hard and I'm really doing so much better. But my ideal home would be where my person works from home. I'm a youngster yet of around a year old and come in at the top end of the small category of about 25lbs. That is a pawsomely perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes, co-piloting errand runs, supervising yardwork, you name it, I'm just right for the job at hand!! Playful and sweet, active and adventurous, I've got some great qualities ready to share with my very own family. I am so ready to be that lil heartbeat at your feet or on your lap! Meet Rue! She is a sweet girl but shy at first. She needs to be the only animal in the home. Rue has also lived and done well with kids ages 8+ years old. She was house broken when she came to us, but may need a refresher due to being in a kennel setting. Rue is afraid of storms and likes to snuggle with her person for comfort and may find a quiet place to wait out the storm. She would greatly benefit from consistent and on going training and enrichment to keep her being the best girl she can be.
