All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $600   Gwen Stacy is a 4 month old Italian Greyhound mix searching the skyline for her Peter Parker! Gwen is the last of her litter of super puppies and we can’t wait to find her a web (or home) of her very own! This amazing puppy is ready to kickstart her next mission and hopes the end result is a snuggle in your arms. We think she will be in the 9-12 pound range when she reaches her adult weight, so she will stay a petite little princess! If you’re ready for a Spiderman web-slinging love of your very own, come and scoop up Gwen!    Gwen is a cuddle-bug who is just the cutest and most happy puppy in the entire world. She loves snuggling in the arms or lap of her foster family, and can keep you company for hours at a time. She is super smart and has already learned several tricks. As long as you have a snack for her, she’s ready to show off! Gwen loves exploring the outdoors and is the perfect companion for all the adventures you have planned. This gal is always ready to sniff a leaf or zoom across the yard to chase after a toy. She loves her stuffed animal collection and she would love a toy chest of her own in her forever home. Her adorable puppy dog eyes make it almost impossible to resist giving her anything she could ever want. Trust us, you don’t even want to try. From the minute she gazes at you with her adorable face and places a paw on your heart, you’ll be helpless to her charm.  Gwen starts her day at 8 AM in her crate with a big stretch followed by a trip outside to the potty. Once she’s done her business, she comes inside for breakfast and a treat. She gets a morning walk and then settles in to hang out as her foster family starts their workdays from home. She gets a break in the afternoon to stretch her legs, often with some zoomies in the yard. In the evening, Gwen goes on a longer walk and then comes home for her dinner. She loves to snuggle up and watch TV with her family in the evening, often crawling under their blankets to cuddle as close as possible. She goes out once more at 10 PM and goes to bed.  Gwen has lived with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and adores them all. She would be a perfect companion to a resident dog or she can shine as a solo pup! Gwen has been well socialized with humans and is always eager to make new friends. She is house trained and crate trained. She’s basically the whole package all wrapped up with a neat little bow! If you’re ready for your happy ending, come and adopt Gwen Stacy!       Gwen is an option for a variety of homes, as long as they are prepared to continue her training. Kids should be over the age of 6.November 20, 2024, 2:18 pm

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee. This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, November 16th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $650   The Bee puppies are a litter of 15 week old Italian Greyhound x Chihuahua mixes ready to fly into your arms with honey and cuteness! This trio of pups came from the shelter after they were surrendered by their former home who had an accidental litter after not fixing mama. Folks… this is why we spay/neuter. We scooped them up and promised to find them furever homes deserving of their cuteness. This trio is 2 boys and 1 girl. We expect the puppies to remain on the small side when they reach adulthood. Come create a family hive with a Bee puppy!     Bumble (M): Bumble is a silly and sweet little gentleman who can’t wait to scamper his way into your heart! Bumble trots around the house with a tail that never stops wagging, always dragging one of his favorite fluffy toys behind him. It’s absolutely adorable to see his smile as he shows off his prize. Bumble has the cutest little nose markings that draw you into giving him tons of kisses. Bumble is absolutely hilarious as he shows off his puppy antics. He’s known to fling himself from your lap to the couch cushion (we aren’t going to tell him it’s only a few inches down) and pose as if to say “See! I’m amazing, aren’t I?” Yes you are, little man! Bumble is the smallest of the bunch and can’t wait to spend his days exploring the world with you followed by nights of snuggles in a blanket. Let our little man buzz like a bee and Bumble into your arms!  Nectar (F): Nectar is a sweet, outgoing, and cuddly little girl who doesn’t let her brothers dull her shine! She leads the daily agenda of playtime and puppy piles with a sweetness mixed by that adorable sassiness only sisters can relate to. Nectar has gorgeous markings that give her permanent little socks and a cute little face mask. Nectar is the first puppy to investigate new things and she approaches challenges with a level of fearlessness we can only aspire to! Though she may be small, we know Nectar has a lifetime of fun adventures ahead of her. She wants to see all that the world has to offer and her forever family will be blessed with an adventure companion who’s ready to snuggle and give kisses at the end of a long day. This sweet gal is all Nectar! Pollen (M): Pollen is a sweet little gentleman who has ears that rival Dumbos and a heart as big as a beehive! Pollen is more of the “sit back and watch the action” kind of puppy, observing his brother and sister as they pretend to be wrestlers. Pollen learned quickly that while his siblings are distracted, he can soak up all the cuddles. He loves being held like a little baby and would happily spend hours curled up in your arms as you go about your day. He just wants to be loved and show love in return, and it’s pretty hard to resist when he hits you with those puppy dog eyes. We know that Pollen will fit perfectly into the home lucky enough to adopt him and he can’t wait to shower you with all the kisses you could ever need. With Pollen in your life, you’ll always have the brightest flowers!      The Bee puppies wake up around 7 AM and have a brief play session as their pen is cleaned out and their breakfast is prepared. They enjoy their morning meal and their special treat as well. During the day, the puppies alternate between zooming around their pen, playing with toys, curling up for naps, and generally being adorable. They have a lunchtime snack around 1 PM. In the afternoon, they get an extended play session followed by lots of cuddles from their foster humans. They take another nap until waking up for dinner around 6 PM. In the evening, they get some more snuggles until they go into their pen for the night around 10 PM. The Bee puppies are super playful and social with all the dogs they’ve met and would be a fantastic option for a companion pup. They love people, especially those ready to shower them in kisses and snuggles. We expect interested homes to demonstrate a commitment to continued training and socialization to ensure the pups are well-behaved adults. If you’re looking for some honey (with a side of puppy kisses) stop on by our Farmer’s Market Stand and adopt a Bee puppy!  Bee puppies do well with cats as well.      The Bee puppies are only an option for homes who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 8.November 18, 2024, 6:40 pm
