Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.This big boy is a lover boy for sure, he loves everyone with 2 legs and 4 legs.  He plays so well with my small breed dogs and he will play with anyone who wants to play with him.  The vet thinks he is an Irish Wolfhound and Aussie Doodle, but definitely a doodle of some type. BIG TEX  is 2 year old and 66 pounds and I believe he is done growing.  He thinks he is a lap dog and will try to climb and cuddle with you.  After a little resistance he is happy just to lay his head on you.  And he is extremely tolerate of other dogs with not a bone of aggression in him.  I have 2 chihuahua's that fiercely bark and lounge at him and poor Archie just runs away after he tries to ignore them.  His 2 best buddies are 20 pounds and he plays tug of war with them and run zoomies around the backyard.   BIG TEX was dumped in a cul-de-sac where one of my foster mom lives.  She called me over and I watched him go from house to house to the front doors scratching to get in.  I felt so bad for him, he has no outside survivor skills, he is totally an indoor pet and constant companion.  BIG TEX  would make a wonderful family pet.  He adapts to any environment and just makes himself at home.  To adopt BIG TEX, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org       ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
