Story
Meet Fred! An affectionate and spirited one-year-old Irish Terrier mix from Temecula, CA, whose puppy energy is matched only by his deep love for his people and playmates. Wrapped in a wiry tan coat, this 38-pound bundle of joy is an enthusiastic companion who shines brightest when he’s surrounded by friends—human and canine alike! Fred’s daily routine is all about fun and companionship. His mornings start with a hearty breakfast and as soon as he’s finished, he’s off to the yard for a lively game of chase and tug-of-war with his canine buddies. One special friend in particular has captured Fred's heart, and together they dash across the yard, tugging and romping until it’s time to wind down. After his morning play session and a walk, Fred settles in for a snooze while his human works from home—a wonderful balance of energy and relaxation! This boy’s social calendar doesn’t stop there. Fred recently took his first stroll through the neighborhood during Halloween festivities, charming families, and kids with his sweet, friendly nature. His confidence in crowds and his gentle way with children make him a fantastic candidate for a family who loves getting out and about. Whether he’s at a bustling event or quietly soaking up affection at home, Fred adores being at his guardian's side, happily leaning in for hugs, pets, and endless snuggles! Fred’s heart is set on a family who’ll keep him close and share in his love for adventure. He’s looking for a caregiver who will welcome him into the heart of family activities, take him to new places, and, if possible, introduce him to a fellow dog companion who can keep up with his high-energy play style. He’s also fully crate-trained, house-trained, and has mastered "sit" and "stay," though he’d enjoy more training with his new family to deepen his bond and learn more. Fred is the perfect companion for a loving, patient family ready to share a life filled with adventures, loyalty, and joy. Could Fred be the furry friend you’ve been waiting for? Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more and arrange a meeting with this snuggle-loving, people-adoring pup!

Story
Blizzard is 49 years old. I have had him since the ending of 2017. He is from a pet liter he was mothered by his mom for a month. I have had him since 2017. He is an amazing dog, he is respectful, calm, but can be very energetic at times. He likes to go for runs in big areas. He is very loving, and protective. He has these beautiful blue eyes and a beautiful face. He is truly an amazing dog. When he is around family/friends he is nice and calm. He is protective of me and I’m sure he will be for his future owner, also he is protective of himself he grew up with my other pup Lilly a Maltese poodle he loves her a lot and protective about her as well. It breaks my heart to separate them. They are best friends. I am hoping to find him new parents that like to go for walks, hikes, lakes that are pet friendly, beaches that are pet friendly, he enjoys nature and exploring. A family that will care for him, love him, have fun times together the same way he will love you and protect you.
