Story
Roxie is a stunning, highly intelligent Irish Setter. This girl could spend hours waiting patiently for a glimpse of a squirrel in a tree in her yard or napping nearby, waiting for a long walk by your side. She is friendly with dogs and people and enjoys socializing at the dog park or with her foster friends, but she is also content to be the only dog around. She has refined most of those juvenile antics and is pretty well-behaved. She is excellent in her crate or around the home; however, she needs very firm boundaries and precautions around entry and exit points to ensure she doesn't venture out on her own!  Irish Setters are known for their endurance and ability to chase moving objects at high rates of speed, as such they require well maintained fencing such as 6ft board/on/board or similar if they have yard access. We are happy to discuss their specific needs with approved adopters. Story
Meet Punkin… This beautiful Irish girl is well-behaved and sweet! She loves her dog friends and the dog park and gets along well with everyone...except random squirrel and bunny intruders. She is terrific in her crate and enjoys time loose around the house. Punkin has prior obedience training, and with some initial reinforcement, she listens reasonably well. She loves laying out in the sunshine as much as hanging around while you work or play. Irish Setters are known for their endurance and ability to chase moving objects at high rates of speed, as such they require well maintained fencing such as 6ft board/on/board or similar if they have yard access. Story
Meet Sammy! Sammy is a 9-month-old Golden retriever/Rottie male that weighs approx. 69lbs. He was surrender due to his previous family no longer being able to care for him. Sammy is full of pure love and loyalty! He is toy driven and you can usually find him with a tennis ball in his mouth. He loves to greet his humans with gifts and a big smile! He gets along with other dogs and kids of all ages. Sammy will need some work on basic training and commands. He is very quickly getting the hang of walking on a leash and RAC staff is confident all other training will come naturally. This bouncy ball of fur is ready to make any family happy and feel truly loved! As always, if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption to ensure they get along and that your current pet will accept him into the family. His adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccine, boosters to date and heartworm negative. Story
Meet Jethro! Jethro is a 9-month-old Golden retriever/Rottie male that weighs 70 Lbs. Jethro was surrendered due to his family no longer being able to care for him. This sweet boy is learning how to walk on a leash and would love a family that can work on building his confidence and work with him on basic training skills. He would be a wonderful addition to any family! He gets along well with other dogs and kids of all ages. He will need some work on jumping up for hugs but that is just his way to saying hello! He is fun, playful and full of so much love to give. Jethro doesn't appear to have a mean bone in his body and is more than willing to follow his owners anywhere!
