Story
Special medical needs: diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy.Meet Ayla, a sweet and energetic Golden Doodle who is always ready for fun! With her boundless energy, she loves zooming around the play yard, often leading the charge during playtime with both small and big dog friends. Ayla is super friendly and playful, and when she`s not busy running around, you can find her hopping into your lap, soaking up all the attention she can get. She’s a pro on the leash and would make an amazing companion for daily walks or adventurous hikes. Ayla is also highly treat-motivated, which will make future training a breeze. Whether she’s your only dog or she has a doggy friend to hang out with, Ayla’s bouncy, joyful nature and love for both people and dogs will bring endless happiness. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion with lots of energy, Ayla might just be the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet!- - - - -Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience. Story
Fen is 6 years old. Has never slept outdoors 😂 he’s fully house trained knows a few basic commands. He always wants to be by your side. He’s fine indoors alone during the work day once he is used to his surroundings. He’s not an outdoor dog unless he’s with you, he likes to be fully integrated with who he’s with. He does ok on a leash but could use some work. We have never had a problem with him chewing. Not sure how he would do with kids, he’s super loving but can be a bit anxious initially so not sure how he’d be until he gets used to kids. Depending on the dog he’s ok around some and tends to be a bit aggressive until he gets used to them. He’s been great around cats. A perfect fit for him would be a companion to an older individual that needs a buddy and can give him attention, take him for a daily walk and is ok with him laying right at your feet.
