Marshmellow is a young husky type mix that came to us from a local shelter. We have no history on her but we can tell you a few things that we have learned so far. She would do best in a home with children 15 and up. She is very rowdy and mouthy and will need to learn boundaries in her new home. She already knows sit and is exceptionally food motivated which will help to train her in her future home. She will also need to meet any resident dogs prior to adoption. Marsh seems to not know how to interact with other dogs so dogs slightly smaller than her or young pups might be the best option for her. Our kennel team will give you a more detailed description of ways to manage and help Marshmellow succeed in her future home. This sweet girl will also need a family that is either familiar with her breed or similar or has experience with high energy low impulse control dogs. Marshmellow is not a dog for first time dog owners as she has some major challenges to overcome. If you would like to meet this white fluff please speak with Kennel staff and they will be happy to help!

Meet Christian! This sweet boy came to us all the way from Louisiana, courtesy of our friends at Bissell, and he's ready to find his new home! You might have already noticed he has some skin issues, don't worry though! Our vets still have to take a look at him, but soon he'll be feeling and looking his best! Please keep in mind that Christian is a puppy and a husky puppy at that, so he's already pretty energetic, but will likely be even more so once his skin is feeling better. He can be a bit mouthy, so we are requiring all kids in the home be 6 years or older. Christian can also be a bit pushy with other dogs, so we will require a canine meet and greet if you already have a dog in the home. If you're interested in meeting with Christian, please ask a kennel tech and we'll be happy to assist.
