"Summertime, and the livin' is easy"  Summer's cast its shadow, and we're left with cooler air and crunchy leaves.  We'll all miss summer, but, perhaps you don't have to?  We've heard the livin' is easy in summer, but our Summer may disagree.  This past summer, when our Summer was just a kitten herself and should have been chasing her tail & sleeping in sun spots, instead, she was learning all about motherhood, at only 7 months old.  Not quite ready to give up the fun of the season, Summer favored an (empty) doggie pool for a nest to raise her 2 kittens, Porgy & Bess!  Her summer home traveled with her until the family outgrew it and is now ready for a more permanent home.  Summer is as wonderful as her name, a complete sweetheart, she'll warm your heart even in the deepest winter.  Ready with purrs & head bonks, this darling is ready for the next season of her life, her forever family.  Summer loves older, respectful children and getting to cuddle with you. There's always an Oddball in a group.  Meet our Oddball!  This gorgeous boy was only tiger in a litter of panther kittens, he's the Oddball all right!  And who doesn't love the odd man out?  Though he might not match the agents, he's just as talented.  Named after Oddjob from James Bond, this bodyguard is busy watching over his siblings - minding their kitten shenanigans - and joining in the fun!  Because he's an oddball, he's decided to diverge from his namesake and be the most friendly, bouncy, playful kitten ever!  Oddball has been raised in headquarters (a clinic) training for life and has been recently released to the workforce (a foster).  Oddball had a feral mom but lucked out, rather than having to live the brutal life of an outdoor henchman, Oddball got the cush gig of an indoor bodyguard.  Let's help Oddball find the family who really appreciates the ... oddball in a group!  Oddball needs to be in a home with another young, playful cat or kitten (a sibling spy?  or two?) and would be fine with respectful children.   You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. Jackie-Boy is rocking his new snazzy hoodie! He actually likes wearing clothes—who are we to argue? 😆 This sweet 4-year-old has some unique allergies—believe it or not, he's allergic to cat dander! As for food, he has to avoid kangaroo, most seafood, pea protein, and alligator. 🐈🐠🦘🐊 Jackie-Boy loves leash walks and is doing well on Allegra for his allergies. He’s looking for a forever home that understands he thinks he is a dog and his needs. Could that be you?

Leinya is blind, but that doesn't stop her! She loves to run on her wheel, and no matter where it is moved in the room, she always finds it. She is determined to get all her steps in each day. Leinya loves to cuddle, if you let her know that you are there before you touch her so she doesn't get startled. She is a total love bug but who will provide you with hours of entertainment and love.

Dot is an Arabian Mau from Kuwait. She loves to "help" you around the house.

BB is originally from Egypt and he is both blind and deaf. Despite this, he still loves cuddling with people and dogs. He is very affectionate.

This is "Pistachio". Pistachio is a purebred Himalayan. Poor Pistachio. Why you ask? The sad thing about Pistachio is that she is 12 years and 1 month old and she came to us because her owners have grandchildren that they babysit every day and, unfortunately, the grandchildren have allergies. The grandmother was crying and we know she is really going to miss Pistachio and Pistachio is really going to miss her. Pistachio is a very sweet cat. She sure is pretty too! Just look at her loooong beautiful whiskers! Pistachio is okay with children. Children must be 6 years old or older. Pistachio would get along with another cat. She hisses at dogs but she could probably live with a small calm dog. Pistachio would need to be brushed every day, especially her "belly", because her hair is so long. We are looking for someone who would be very interested in Pistachio and who would welcome her and provide her with a quiet, wonderful home full of love and happiness for the rest of her life. Pistachio is spayed and her shots will be updated. To adopt Pistachio, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets.
