Meet Hazel!
A playful and curious three-month-old Miniature Bernedoodle currently in Palo Alto, CA, whose golden and white coat shimmers as brightly as her cheerful spirit. With her big personality and love of puppy play, Hazel is already a little spark of sunshine, ready to bring joy and laughter to a new loving family looking for a sweet pup to grow up with!
Hazel may be young, but she’s already showing off her smarts! She responds to her name, comes when called by a whistle, and is beginning to understand sit and stay, especially when there's a treat involved. At night, this clever girl sleeps peacefully in her crate for a full 7–8 hours, dreaming of toys and belly rubs. Her days are filled with bursts of energy, meals three times a day, and outdoor playtime that helps burn off her puppy zest.
She’s also had quite the journey already. Hazel arrived needing special care after a bout with parvo, but thanks to early treatment and lots of TLC, she’s bounced back beautifully! Hazel is still a young puppy, and it will be a requirement that she be spayed at an appropriate age, when the procedure is safer and more beneficial for her growth and development. She’s up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, crate-trained, and full of affection to share.
Hazel and her brother Scout are two peas in a pod, but their strong sibling bond has started to show signs of littermate syndrome. Based on a trainer's advice, Hazel may thrive best in a home where she can learn and grow independently. That said, her current caregivers are open to placing the pair together if the right, experienced family is ready to take on double the puppy fun.
This golden girl is playful, social, and incredibly charming. She hasn’t yet had much interaction with other dogs or cats, but she’s open-hearted and adaptable. Hazel needs a family ready to guide her with patience, positive reinforcement, and lots of love through the magical, sometimes messy puppy stage.
