Story
What a cool dog Leeboo is! He hits from a high kill shelter in Bakersfield. We really don't know he was an attempt as a micro Brittany Spaniel, or he's an Springer Spaniel or what? Bottom line is he is unique and beautiful he is around 8 mo old and he was clearly not socialized well. He is a bit timid at first, and then he lets go. He is doing great at the learning the ropes, sleeping peacefully in his crate at night, going on walks and getting to learn the outside world. He is fine around other dogs. He weighs only 20 pounds right now... so full grown... maybe 25-28 pounds. He would do best in a quieter household. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Story
Located in Temecula, CA Jesse came to us as a stray from a shelter in the LA area. He is about 3 years old and we suspect he is a sprocker(cocker/springer mix). He was very afraid of his world when he arrived. He has been working with a trainer for many months as we fully believed in him and that he deserved a chance at a good life. His trainer has done wonders with Jesse and says he is a great dog.. Jesse will make a great hiking buddy and ball fetching companion. Yet he also enjoys just hanging out and chilling in the house. Jesse does have a prey drive so cats or other small animals in the house are a no. Jesse would do best in an adult only home or with teenagers that fully understand dog etiquette. He can live with a female dog that respects his space. He is about 35 pounds, up to date on his vaccinations and has a clean bill of health. Jesse is leash trained and house trained. Jesse will thrive in a home where he gets mental and physical stimulation, and a commitment to follow the transition plan from the trainer. There are two aftercare lessons included with Jesse's training program; one in-home and one at the facility that are required for Jesse to be successful.
