I am used to the crate and have been a really good boy - I just need a kind, gentle and loving human to help me learn the rest. I didn’t know what to think of humans when I first got here, but my foster family has shown me that people are pretty great! Now I’m ready to find my own family. I’m a great adventure buddy. I love car rides and walks, and I’m off-leash trained with my foster mom. It’ll take a minute to get to that point with a new family, but once I do, let’s go all the places and do all the things together! I’ll stay right with you like a good, loyal boy. Also, guess what. I can swim! I’m a certified water dog. Let’s go into the mountains, let’s hike and paddleboard and swim and run – I’m ready! Okay, actually, I’m still kind of shy. I still need some safe exposure and socialization with new things. It will probably take me a while to trust you the way I trust my foster family. But I want you to know, I’m ready for that! My mom says I’m the perfect mix of cuddly and playful, with a heart as big as my smile. They call me a mini Aussie Doodle, but unless we do a DNA test, let’s just stick with “bundle of fur.” I’m estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old.     I’m looking for a loyal family that’s ready to give me plenty of love, attention, and adventure. I dream of long walks, hiking trips, and a yard where I can chase after my favorite ball.    I sleep well in my crate at night, but in the mornings, I love to be close by and keep you company. My ideal home would have someone who’s around a lot—maybe you work from home?—so I can just relax by your side.     I get along great with my foster siblings, who are twice my size at around 70 pounds. I love keeping them in check, especially when they get excited! Because of my herding instincts, my foster mom thinks a home without young kids would be best.
