Story
Laila was rescued from the streets of Boulder, CO, and became a part of our family at around five years old.In the three years since, she has shown herself to be an outstanding dog, exhibiting a calm nature that resonates with everyone she meets. Laila is lively yet responds well to training, demonstrating good behavior indoors, around food, and with children. However, she encounters difficulties with other dogs. Although she has canine friends and currently lives with another dog, it takes time and training for her to feel at ease sharing her space. When meeting new dogs, Laila often reacts with confusion and protectiveness, which can result in aggressive behavior. There have been a few instances of dog fights involving bites, but thankfully, no serious injuries occurred. So, being highly attentive to this issue coupled with ample space to run freely, and perhaps in a home without other dogs, you can experience Laila and her unique ability to bring calm to the people around her.

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Hopkinton, MA Meet Dingo! He is an 10 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 18 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Dingo is nervous around strangers! He hasn’t been tested around older children. No cats, dogs or younger children, due to his reactivity! Dingo nipped a dog sitter who tried to take his food away (he resource guards high value food). He also nipped a grandparent after he growled at the owner’s baby and the grandparent grabbed his collar to pull him away. Dingo had a TPLO on his left leg and some arthritis, so he is sensitive around his knees. He is currently on fluoxetine for his anxiety. Dingo is given an omega and glucosamine supplement. He is also on a course of doxycycline for a recent positive anaplasma test. The owner is surrendering him because he nipped two people. His reactivity has increased and the owner has younger children. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Dingo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Braintree, MA Olly is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and weighs 55 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Olly is hostile around strangers! He is good with older children, cats, and dogs! He is nervous around younger children! He is housebroken, but isn’t crate-trained. Olly bit a woman while on a walk. This happened because she approached him and stuck his hand out too quickly. Olly has fear aggression (he didn’t have a great start in his previous home) and will need to continue further training on this. The owner is surrendering him because they are unable to provide the attention he needs, due to caring for a relative with health issues. He needs to go by 10/6! If you think you can provide a great home for Olly, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
