Leia is a very loving and playful 8-9 month old Border Collie/German Shepard mix. Leia is high energy, very smart young female. She needs experienced quality owners that have time to devote to her. She needs a more active owner. She will need space to play and run. She has a lot of love for children and meeting new people. She is a social butterfly. She shy's away from aggressive dogs. She loves all the dogs at the dog park and mixes nicely with them. She has all her shots, 5 months of Simperico Trio, and a full bag of dog food, puppy bed, and supplies.

Story
Nanook is a stunning 6-ish-year-old rescue, who came into LCR's care after trading hands several times and living in less than ideal circumstances. Since LCR took on Nanook ten weeks ago, he has successfully navigated his foster-care home with ease. He has acclimated to living amongst a large pack and worked his way into the resident dynamics smoothly. After a life of uncertainty and instability, Nanook does exhibit some dominate and controlling behaviors with other canines but is readily redirected. He attempts to herd and control pack dynamics but ultimately appears to desire playful interaction and acceptance. While in fostercare, Nanook has been exposed to cats and could "possibly" come to accept and cohabitate with fellow felines--given a slow, contained, supervised, and patient cohabitation approach. Nanook is not suited for small livestock or young children under ten. Yet, while this boy can be a bit spicy in play, pack, and human interactions, he lives to cuddle, loves his walks, and possesses the qualities of being an amazing companion!!! He deserves and is waiting for so much more than what he's been offered thus far.

Rocco, 1 year old (DOB Feb 2024) male Border Collie💙 needs an active home or a working farm to help do chores. He would be a good herding dog, but would need some training. He is used to chickens that he herds. He is very lovable and loves to be petted, and he loves kids. He's housebroken and does not chew anything up as long as he has his chewing toys. He sleeps inside sometimes and sleeps all night. No cat history. He is a very busy dog and needs someone that knows the breed and wants a loyal buddy! Please apply at www.hopeshavenfriends.org
