Charlie was built for adventure. Long morning walks? Yes please. Evening strolls? Absolutely. Road trip? He’s already in the car. He rides beautifully and is always ready to be your co-pilot on hiking trails, nature getaways, or scenic drives.
This boy thrives on movement and connection. He’s not a “just let him out in the yard” kind of pup — he needs structured walks, outdoor time, mental enrichment, and a human who enjoys staying active. When his body and brain are fulfilled, he happily curls up nearby for a well-earned nap.
Charlie is still learning to navigate the world with confidence. He can be reactive to dogs and people on walks, so he’s looking for an experienced, patient adopter who understands reactivity and is committed to helping him continue building skills at his pace. With very slow, intentional introductions, he has shown he can coexist playfully and peacefully with other dogs.
Because he can get overwhelmed, Charlie would do best in a quieter home with no young children (older, dog-savvy teens could be considered). He’s looking for structure, patience, and someone who will help him feel safe and secure.
