Story
In 2023 I was working at my local shelter when this crazy, lovebug came in as a stray. Here, he earned the name Ernie as his bark sounds like an old man :) Ernie stayed at the shelter for several months before I finally caved and adopted him! While I've truly had the best time with this sweet boy, he unfortunately has a fairly high prey drive for cats, and seeing as I own one, I'm making the tough decision to rehome him. During his time at the shelter he got along well with dogs his size or bigger, but when I brought him home with me he became very reactive around other animals, but he is very smart and I believe that with enough training and supervision, he would love a companion to play with! I'm looking for an experienced dog owner (preferably with herding breeds) and with plenty of living space to adopt this loving boy! If you are interested and meet this criteria please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you!
