I am the sweetest of sweeties around. I'm still a puppy so I'm learning manners but I love affection! I'm a little on the shy side but once i warm up to you, i am SO FRIENDLY. I love a good belly rub on my spotted tummy! I haven't had any accidents in my kennel & i seem to crate well so far over night & while my hoomans leave me to go shopping -.-I ADORE children. They are literally my size how could I not? I am good with cats- curious but not interested enough to seek them out. Good with other dogs; I'm still testing all the boundaries while I'm a puppy, but my foster home co-siblings don't mind me!I am food motivated so I will be easy to train! I love meal time & do a prance waiting for my food!My dream home:-A fenced in yard-Someone who has time to work on leash walking as I'm still learningSomeone who can offer lots of belly rubs and affection

Meet Romeo, a border collie mix. Romeo had been in shelter more than 8 months, but thank you to Coastal Pet Rescue he is now in foster and available for adoption. This incredible boy is a shining star with children and dogs, crate and leash trained and thriving indoors. He would be a phenomenal addition to any family. All he desires is love. He does have moderate energy level but after 10-15 minutes of playing and running around, he settles down. He aims to please his human and listens when corrected, but we are working on some more commands. Romeo is Heartworm positive. He has undergone injection therapy to treat his disease and is awaiting a negative re-test. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.
