Story
Dooley Gordon was found by a kind soul in rural Alabama, and thanks to her dedication and generosity, he's an Angel Among Us now! We call him Doron, which means a Gift in Hebrew, because he is such a golden boy, in and out. Doron is very well socialized and loves people, big and small, as well as dogs (cats are unknown, but there are no signs he should be bad with them, either). He is a loving, velcro dog who would follow you around the house and be beyond himself with joy when you come home back to him. He loves going on hikes, riding in a car, playing with toys, and other dogs, but most of all, interacting with his human. Doron is fully house trained, neutered, up to date on his vaccines and probably very young. He loves his food, which is great, because right now at 37 pounds, he’s slightly underweight. We expect his ideal weight to be around 40-42 pounds. His coat is medium and he does shed in all shades of brown! Doron must have a big yard where he can run! Right now, he walks on a leash for over 1.5 miles twice a day, and it's not enough, he still enjoys a good run in the backyard. Even though he is crate trained, he isn't great with staying alone for long periods of time and would be vocal about it. Therefore, we don't think he would be good for a condo or an apartment. Doron is extremely smart and fast. He would be a great companion for an active family, with or without children, who can play with him, spend a lot of time with him and love him. In return, they would get the most loving, loyal and cute companion they could have ever dreamt about!
