Huxlee is a well mannered 45 lbs mix breed 1 year old boy. He would do best in a home with children over 12 and no other dogs. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

We’re incredibly grateful for their support!Meet Jackson! /(^.^)\ Hello everyone, my name is Jackson and I am a 1.5 year old Border Collie Mix with a black and white coat. I currently weigh 56 pounds. I thrive on love and attention and enjoy romping in my kiddie pool or curling up for cuddles. I absolutely LOVE water, whether that means standing in my water bowl, jumping in the lake, or attacking the water that flies out of the hose! I am high-energy and would do well with an active family. I am extremely smart and need to keep my mind active; I like to do interactive puzzles. I would do better with older children as I am a herding dog and may be too much for a small child. I can be dog selective and would need a proper introduction; I have shown some resource guarding with toys. I walk well on a leash too. Currently, I am available for adoption. Meet Lois! /(^.^)\ Hello there, my name is Lois and I am an adorable Australian Shepherd Mix. I am brindle and white with cute floppy ears. I am roughly 8.5 months old and weigh about 22 pounds. I am cautious and shy, but I will warm up if you spend some time with me. I get along fantastically with all of my doggie friends, and would do well in a home with a canine buddy. While I may need some guidance with leash manners and potty training, I am willing to learn. With patience and love, I can be a devoted and well-mannered member of your family. Currently, I am in a foster home and available for adoption.
