Meet Leia!-2 year old spayed female Australian Kelpie mix (Australian Kelpie mix is simply a guess!)-Weighs 54lbs-Previously lived in a quiet home with a couple and their teenage children-Has lived with a small breed dog (maltipoo) and did well-History of enjoying the company of other dogs and playing with them-Has befriended dogs at the Shelter including her current Shelter dog friend Wyatt!-Crated when left alone in previous home-History of being house trained in previous home *Leia`s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor*Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

MEET SPARK! Spark is a happy and sweet Border Collie in need of a new foster or forever home! He's almost 2 years old. Spark was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where he was kenneled with another dog. Spark is dog friendly and people friendly, and do well with an active person or people who can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. He weighs about 38 lbs. Please email for an application.
