Story
Railey is a wonderful dog who is sweet, full of love and playful ! She was abandoned with her siblings and suspected to have been abused. Therefore, she is a bit shy and timid due to her past. Pssss….(Being a bit shy in the beginning is common, especially for rescue dogs adjusting to new environments.) Patience and kindness are essential qualities when caring for animals, especially those who may be shy or in need of extra support. Building trust and rapport takes time, but the rewards of a strong bond are immeasurable and Railey will likely blossom into a wonderful companion! Railey is around 3 years, spayed and fully vaccinated. All she’s missing is YOU!

Story
Random is a dream dog in many ways. He is quiet and kind. You will love his sweet and gentle nature. He is naturally shy with strangers. He isn't a barker usually but he loves to howl. He prefers a calm, firm handler. He will urinate if he is nervous about someone approaching him or putting on his leash, jacket, etc. He is on a proper carnivore diet (raw chicken, beef, turkey, mutton, beaver, bison, venison, etc) and would love to adopted by someone who embraces a holistic lifestyle that includes a raw diet. He's had rabies shot but did not have any so-called "puppy shots". Random has health insurance with no pre-existing conditions. His adopter will be required to commit to keeping his policy paid up and following rules set forth by the insurer. Random was very bonded to his best feline friend, but they have drifted apart a little bit so Random is now free to be adopted without his pal. Adoption requirements unique to Random: Home ownership Adequately fenced back yard Keep in touch with Luckydog Home check and home setup and training visit Re check of home and evaluate behavior after 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, or as needed Continue on Luckydog-recommended recommended diet Only use Luckydog-recommended support products

Barry

Border Collie German Shepherd Dog

Male, Adult
Imperial Beach, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We got Barry when he was puppy from San Diego Humane Society. We are rehoming him because we are not giving him the life he needs anymore. It was not easy to come to this decision, but our family circumstances have changed and now we are moving out of the state. He definitely needs an active home with someone who can cater to the needs of a border collie. Barry is very sweet with people he knows. He can be very goofy and rambunctious, he loves to play with toys and loves treats. He likes to incite play with our other dog and sometimes will gently play with the cats. Sometimes he can be too much for the other animal but is very easy to call off or distract. Sometimes he will chase the cats, especially when they get the zoomies, but he has never shown them any aggression. In the mornings when he wakes up he loves to roll around on the bed and loves to receive pets at that time. He likes to be around us and loves getting attention.
